The type of PP document we use depends on the type of media sector the product is for
The importance of good planning/Pre-production
If you make mistakes because you haven’t planned effectively, it is costly and time consuming to put theses right later
Trying to back-track to do so, means missing your interim or final deadline
You make more effective use of your resources (physical and human) to plan ahead and have the right pre-production documentation - otherwise you waste time and resources
You ensure the safety of everyone on the project - hazard planning
Planning ahead in terms of legal and ethical considerations ensure a successful product that fulfils the client’s brief and enhances your reputation in the industry (rather than the opposite)
